2025 Interventional Nephrology Workshop

Invitation to Attend

Saturday 30 August – Sunday 31 August 2025 | Meeting Room 1 , Level 2, PCEC

The Interventional Nephrology Workshop is an opportunity for emerging nephrologists in Australia and New Zealand to study, discuss, and practice all aspects of the specialty. This includes the setting of standards, as well as training and observation of relevant hands-on procedures including renal biopsy, cuffed and non-cuffed central venous catheter insertion, peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion, and arterio-venous fistula formation and diagnostic or interventional imaging (e.g. angioplasty and stenting).

We also encourage attendance from haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis access surgeons and interventional radiologists as well as dialysis access nurses.

The Interventional Nephrology Workshop is an unrivalled opportunity for colleagues from the sector to meet in person, after a prolonged period of absence. A networking dinner on day one will be followed by a series of hands-on sessions on several program items. It will be a great opportunity for trainees, early career practitioners, and nurses to learn and network of which we look forward to welcoming a large cohort to the Interventional Nephrology Workshop.
