Dr. Alex Combes
Dr. Alexander Combes leads the Development and Disease Laboratory at Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute. His research uses developmental biology to advance human kidney organoid models, with a focus on improving maturation, reproducibility and scalability for modelling acute kidney injury, immune responses and progression toward chronic kidney disease.
