Dr Kotwal is the co-chair of the ANZDATA COVID-19 Working Group. She has a background in clinical trials, epidemiology, biostatistics and the analysis of linked health data. She has designed and led multiple large projects to completion and has a track record of collaboration with national and international research leaders and institutions. She led the execution of the REDUCCTION project which implemented an evidence-based suite of interventions across 37 renal units in Australia, the establishment of the Glomerular disease registry and biobank (first of its kind in Australia) across 7 hospitals in NSW and is the co-lead of the Global Kidney Patient Trials Network. |
