After having completed BPT, the majority of renal advanced training and a PhD in the AFL stronghold of Adelaide, Dr Shaundeep Sen took up a permanent role with the nephrology department at Concord Hospital in 2011. He has developed interests in the environmental impact of nephrology, the care and transition of patients from CKD to dialysis, undertakes research in CKD dialysis and exercise, and contributes to a combined sub-speciality kidney stone clinic. Public and research roles are balanced with teaching, private practice, and enjoying watching his children outdo their genetic potential on the sporting field.
