Update Course Presentation title: My personal journey as an Interventional Nephrologist
One of the goals of advanced training is to develop your areas of interest and find your niche. This can be very useful later on in terms of job opportunities. If you enjoy what you do you are also less likely to suffer from burnout. My niche is interventional nephrology – I will briefly summarise what drew me to this area and how it ties in with quality improvement and health advocacy. Starting off as a new consultant in an interventional centre may sound like plain sailing – the challenges, pros and cons will be discussed in this talk.
