Dr Kar Hui Ng
Dr Ng is a paediatric nephrologist and clinical academic whose work bridges kidney medicine and genomics. She has led nation-wide clinical implementation of renal genomics in Singapore, and is part of her hospital Clinical Ethics Committee. Recently, she takes up the role of the Director of the National University Centre for Genomic Medicine (NUGEM), where she is responsible for advancing precision medicine across the healthcare cluster. Being a mother of 4, she finds joy partnering and journeying with the families as they bring up the children living with chronic kidney diseases.
