Professor Bobby Chacko
Professor Bobby Chacko is Director of Renal Services and Senior Staff Specialist in Nephrology and Transplantation at John Hunter Hospital, and Conjoint Professor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle, Australia. His clinical and research interests include diabetic kidney disease, IgA nephropathy, and cardio-renal syndrome. He serves as the National Scientific Leader for selected clinical trials in IgA nephropathy and diabetic kidney disease. His work also focuses on CKD detection, guideline-directed care, and collaboration between specialist and primary care services to improve kidney health outcomes.
