The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) is centrally located in South Bank Parklands, with direct train access to Brisbane’s airport. Recognised as Australia’s most awarded convention venue, it was named the World’s Best Convention Centre from 2016 to 2018.
The BCEC is set in the vibrant South Bank Parklands, a cultural and entertainment hub offering a scenic riverside experience for delegates.

The BCEC offers a complimentary wheelchair service for visitors and delegates of the centre. The wheelchairs are available for loan on a first come, first served basis and can be collected from the Information Desks (at the Merivale Street Foyer and the Grey Street Foyer).
Hearing loops are installed in all meeting rooms, and all internal lifts have braille signage and control panels.
Accessible unisex toilets are located throughout the Centre and are located adjacent to major restroom blocks.

With more than 23.2 million passengers in 2017, the award-winning Brisbane Airport is the third busiest in Australia. Brisbane is the closest destination for many international travellers to Australia and is a great hub to start from for many Australian experiences.
Once you’ve arrived, getting around Brisbane is a pleasure with its first-class network of travel and transport links. From the airport, board the AirTrain for a direct transfer to the city (kids 14 and under travel free) and links the domestic and international terminals. Brisbane Airport is located about 20 minutes from the city centre via train.

Public transport fares have been reduced to a 50-cent flat rate across all zones and modes on the TransLink network across the state of Queensland.
The local transport network is cashless. We suggest that you purchase a go card to travel on public buses, trains, ferries (please note the 50 cent flat rate does not apply to AirTrain services). There are many go card retailers including one at the Brisbane International Airport. Read more about go cards on the TransLink website.
The closest station to the BCEC is the South Brisbane Station. You can get a train from South Brisbane into the city or to the Airport.

Another way to get to where you need to go is via a taxi. You’ll find taxi ranks at the Brisbane international and domestic airports, as well as throughout Brisbane City and its surrounding regions. Jumping in a taxi can be a quick and efficient way of getting to your destination.
