Supporting Green Nephrology
The ANZSN Environmental Sustainability Committee (ESC) advises Council on actions to foster, promote and support environmentally sustainable nephrology practice in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
Environmental commitments at ANZSN events
ANZSN recognizes that urgent action is needed to help minimise the impacts of climate change, sustainably manage natural resources, and reduce and manage waste. We actively take steps to reduce the environmental footprint of our events, both in terms of minimising the use of materials and need for local transport, and in terms of waste disposal.
Green Nephrology Add-on $15K + GST
Key ANZSN Exclusive Benefits:
- Sponsors of all levels may purchase a Green Nephrology Add-on, which will provide specific acknowledgment as a supporter of the ANZSN’s green initiatives.
- The funds raised via the Green Nephrology Add-on package will be forwarded to ANZSN’s Environmental Sustainability Committee (ESC), to support ANZSN’s green sustainability initiatives, such as facilitation of the implementation of ANZSN’s Green Nephrology Guidelines, and the curation of Green Nephrology resources on the ANZSN website.
- The use of the funds will remain at the discretion of ANZSN ESC and ANZSN Council, however, ANZSN would be pleased to review any green sustainability activities carried out by the sponsor in our region and, where appropriate, acknowledge these at the Annual Scientific Meeting.
