Red Socks Run!, 8.00am to approx 9.00am
Run like a life depends on it! Join the team at Kidney Health Australia and walk, jog or run 5km at Wentworth Common Parkrun on Marjorie Jackson Parkway, Sydney Olympic Park, very close to the conference venue. You have the option to buy and wear a pair of red socks in support of their campaign or undertake some fundraising, or just come along for the exercise, company, and beautiful Sydney scenery. It’s free and everyone is welcome.
ANZVASC-ANZSN Vasculitis Symposium, 1.45pm to 5.30pm
This will be held as part of the Nephrology & Transplantation Update Course Program and will feature a range of international and national speakers.

Consumer and carers day at the ASM, 9.00am to 5.00pm
Co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA) and supported by ANZSN

A day for people living with kidney disease and their carers to network with each other and clinicians, researchers, and consumer advocates. Registration to the workshop is free to all consumers registered for the Annual Scientific Meeting. A limited number of free workshop registrations is available to interested consumers and carers. You will hear from stakeholders like Kidney Health Australia (KHA), National Kidney Consumer Research Network, National Indigenous Kidney Transplantation Taskforce (NIKTT), and Centre of Research Excellence: Partnering with patients with chronic kidney disease to transform care and outcomes (CRE-PACT) about their initiatives to promote patient-centricity in research and healthcare. We also have some practical tips on kidney-friendly recipes and meals with a cooking demonstration by a dietitian and advice on how to stay active on dialysis. You will learn about myths, facts, and care on pregnancy and parenthood for people living with kidney disease from a kidney doctor.
